Empathetic by instinct. Precise by practice.

With clients, Leigh makes space — for the full story.

Leigh works with employees navigating some of the most disorienting moments of their professional lives — from reviewing employment contracts at the optimistic outset of a new job, to navigating workplace disputes, human rights concerns, and contentious ends of employment. She advises and advocates for employees through severance negotiations, wrongful dismissal claims, human rights complaints, and other workplace disputes, helping her clients understand their rights and options at every stage.

Leigh came to law through social work, crisis lines, and community advocacy. The people she worked with needed more than the system could offer — they needed someone who could fight for them. Law gave her the means to do exactly that. Today, she practices employment and human rights law with the focus of someone who chose this work deliberately, and the drive of someone who has not forgotten why.

Equally competitive as she is compassionate, Leigh goes deep on every file — finding the relevant precedent, building the argument from the ground up, and doing the detailed groundwork that pays off when it matters. She is a meticulous writer who genuinely loves the craft of a well-built argument — the kind that's precise, well-reasoned, and lands exactly where it needs to. Leigh's built her practice on a simple principle: the lawyer who knows the file best usually carries the room.

With clients, Leigh makes space — for the full story, the frustration, the details that feel complicated or hard to say out loud. She meets people where they’re at, without judgement or agenda. What follows is a partnership: two people with a shared goal, moving forward together.
